Collaborating with a young person on their journey to independence involves teamwork with a group of skilled and professional support staff and managers at Sixteen Plus. Many managers at Sixteen Plus initially served as support workers, comprehending the challenges faced by the support staff. They consistently extend assistance, not only in work-related matters but also during personal challenges.
Throughout my tenure at Sixteen Plus, any concerns I encountered were promptly addressed by coordinators and managers. Even amid busy schedules, they unfailingly make time to ensure the well-being and contentment of their staff. The coordinators and management team exhibit genuine concern for the young people under our care, extending this care to the support staff and expressing gratitude for their contributions.
Employment with Sixteen Plus means being part of the support system for young people embarking on their journey to adulthood. Each individual brings unique experiences that contribute to helping these young individuals grow and realize their potential.
