Who we are

More than accommodation

Cutlass Care Services exists to provide young people with more than a safe place to live. We create therapeutic homes where they can feel genuinely welcomed, understood and supported as they prepare for adulthood.

Many young people arrive carrying experiences of trauma, instability, family breakdown or disrupted placements. We respond with patience, consistency and respect—taking time to understand each person’s story rather than defining them by what has happened to them.

Our team works alongside young people, social workers and partner professionals to build personalised plans that strengthen wellbeing, develop practical skills and create measurable progress.

Who we are

Hope, belonging and a future to be proud of

We want every young person leaving care to be surrounded by people who believe in them, equipped with the confidence and skills to shape a positive future, and supported to recognise their own strengths and potential.

Who we are

Safe homes rooted in trusted relationships

Our mission is to provide nurturing therapeutic homes where young people feel they truly belong, discover their own strength and develop the resilience, independence and life skills needed to step into adult life with better outcomes.

Our values

The principles behind every decision we make

Our values shape how we welcome young people, support our staff and work with placing authorities and partner agencies.

01 Safety

Creating stable homes and safeguarding cultures where young people can begin to feel secure.

02 Compassion

Responding to behaviour and distress with empathy, curiosity and patience.

03 Respect

Listening carefully, protecting dignity and ensuring every young person’s voice is heard.

04 Belonging

Helping young people experience acceptance, connection and a genuine sense of home.

05 Growth

Recognising strengths, celebrating progress and supporting recovery from adversity.

06 Independence

Building practical ability, confidence and informed decision-making step by step.

07 Inclusion

Celebrating identity, culture and neurodiversity while challenging barriers and discrimination.

08 Integrity

Working openly, responsibly and collaboratively with young people and professionals.

“Every young person deserves a home where they feel safe enough to put down roots and supported enough to grow.”

This belief guides our therapeutic home model, our referral decisions and the everyday relationships our team builds.
